CD Mastering Info

When mastering for CD each track is run through the Neumann console in sequential order in real time for E.Q. and analog processing. The audio is then converted to digital and loaded in the computer for final clean up (fade outs, fade ins, gaps between tracks) and max level (volume). The file is then used to make CD-R copies for reference and final masters.

NOTE: This method of mastering requires that your project NOT be maxed out in level (volume) before it gets here if you're sending CD-R, D.A.T., or any digital master.

For the best final result, make sure your master is a direct digital copy of the original.

If your project is analog, send the master(s) for best results.

After you have checked out the "Ref" disc, changes can be made (if needed) to make your project turn out the way you want.

Turn-around for Cd Projects is 3 - 5 days from arrival to "Ref" CD-R delivered via FedEx.

Each CD project is unique so prices tend to vary a lot. Estimates are made based on how many tracks there are and how long in time your project is. Call between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM US Central time, Monday through Saturday for quotes.

Master and "Ref" CD-R copies are always the same price: for 1 song or 25, from 1 minute up to 80 minutes.
